LaNote is a singer-songwriter and beatmaker.
Her unique style mixes folk and RnB influences, as well as electro and hip hop beats.
LaNote’s Californian and French origins anchored her into the hiphop and electro culture, where she naturally began to sing on trip hop and hip hop instrumentals, also punctually exploring rhyming. Over the course of her journey, Lanote’s production canvas has displayed a wide range of her influences that she translates with the Electribe SX, MPC One, the Microkorg and other keyboards.

Co-founder of the Paris based group Electric Conversation which brought together As Valet, Gus La Tempête and the late Zig Sixteen, Lanote wrote many songs and started playing with productions on both albums Communication and Electric Conversation, released between 2007 and 2012 by DJ Simon S on UK indie label Futuristica Music.

In 2019, her first solo album "Rebirth" also released on Futuristica Music, marked her musical return after taking a pause to focus on motherhood. Awaited by EC music lovers, Rebirth was entirely produced by As Valet and includes several classic remixes by DJ Spinna, DJ Simon S, Dusty from the Jazz Liberatorz and more.

Today, Lanote returns with The Nola Clarks XPRMT, where she tells the adventures of Nola Clarks after her first trip to Planet Earth. Released on indie label Laissedoudis Records, this digital album marks her first self-produced project which features the work of As Valet on sultry Complete Expression.
